No Class 56 for April Nene Valley Gala

The NVR have indicated that the traditional appearance of a Class 56 at the Spring Gala will not take place . This is understood to be linked to the derailment following the Autumn Gala and a decision to ban class 56 locomotives even though the subsequent investigation into the incident had found that the locomotives were not at fault!
